Rack Clips and Screws Micor Style

Post by GEMOTO »

Would anyone happen to have the part numbers handy for the metal clips and screws that are used to mount equipment in the older style cabinets?

Thanks!

They are called U fasteners, but I don't have a MOT part number. They can be ordered from third party vendors.

Or

You can do like I do - use 3/8ths self drilling screws.

A common term for the thingie that slides on to the rack rail and receives the screw is "AMCH." Pro sound shops
have these. The screw itself is a 10-32 thread.

I have used clip-nuts on the Micor type rails.
