HELP with XTS programming issue.

Post by firefighter105 »

Hey All.

I have a problem.
I recently purchased a XTS2500 VHF radio from n7maq here on the board. It is a FPP model which has been the saving grace. I currently have CPS V14.00.00 and the radio was programmed by V15.00.00. My problem arises is that when I go into programming software, an error message pops up saying that I can't access the radio due to the radio being programmed by a newer software. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, except that I have found that I can't access the ability to change zones since there is no button on the radio set up to change zones. So I find this all out after FPP'ing all my channels into the radio and now I CAN'T access said zones.

What I am wondering is one of two things.

Is there anything I can do to allow me to access the radio (V15.00.00) with my CPS (V14.00.00) or is there a way to access, VIA FPP the setup to allow me to set a button or two to change Zones?

Sorry for the long winded question.

JJ

You need to upgrade your software to the latest which is ver 15. There really is no way around it.
