Anybody know what happens when you try and read a GP300 with standard RSS when it has previously been programmed with modified RSS where the band limits have been hex edited and out of band frequencies are programmed into the radio.
Will the standard RSS just reject the codeplug because of the out of band frequencies?
Thanks

I would expect you to get an error because your RSS was not modified for the new band edge to include the current frequencies. You might be able to go in and edit the channels with the incorrect frequencies and then save them back to the radio.
If your looking to use the out of band channels, then you would also have to mod your RSS to be able to accept those non supported frequencies.

It should read the GP300 but the out of range frequencies can not be changed.
