XTL-2500 ID Decode

Post by tuckerm »

I have an XTL-2500 radio and I am trying to set the ID Decode setting. I don't have the PTT ID button available on my CPS. Is this a flashcode issue??

Thanks!

You need G114 - Enhanced Digital ID Display (first flashcode digit should be 5) for PTT ID Display. If you have it and it's not working then you have something else going on.

I don't have that listed. How much would that cost to be done?

Last I heard, $75 for the kit itself and then if you take it somewhere, they may charge labor.

What's the current flashcode?
