I keep getting a "no acknowledge" error #2 when i try to program a gm300. I double checked and the rib works fine with maxtracs, sm50s, m100s, and so forth. But when i try to program the gm300, it can't read the radio. i tried 4 versions of gm300 rss and no luck. the radios are model M44GMC29C3AA. I have two different radios and neither worked. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Hi:
Your problem is probably a simple one.
1st, if your Rib and Cable works with a
maxtrac, it really should work OK with
your GM300 providing you have Factory Software and it is compatable with your
radio model number.
Some of many overlooked problems are as follows:
1. In the " GM300 " Set up, make sure you have selected the same COM PORT as the one
in the Maxtrac.
2. Make SURE your Battery is either New or Like New. Also, it is recommended you use a
Factory Motorola Rib
3. Also its highly recommended you have a external power source feeding the Rib
4. It also could be a bent pin, or dust
on the program Connector. Some Dust Off from
you local computer store can fix that.
If its not one of those problems listed
above, email me, and I can give you some
futher details
