Please help identify.

Post by Furious440 »

Hello anybody. I'm cleaning out a box of stuff from a defunct radio shop and came across what I believe are Mocom 70 channel elements? Please excuse my ignorance as I am not a radio technician.
The elements are part number KXN1002A and K1018A. They are plugged into what looks like some sort of adapter? The part numbers on what I think are an adapter is TLN8603A and TLN8702A.
I have seen the same channel elements plugged directly into a Mocom 70 mobile but I have never seen them in what I'm guessing is some sort of adapter for using in other model radios? Do they plug into a Mocom 70 mobile?
Thanks to any and all who can answer my question.

Sounds like the channel elements I've seen in MSY (MoTrac) repeaters.

That would be the two piece Channel Elements used in mobiles like the Mocom 70 and later Motracs.

D119 . The MSY repeater requires the one piece channel Elements due to the crystal tolerances of less than two parts per million.

Than every one I've ever seen was flat out set up wrong. I've never seen them with one-piece channel elements. All that was way before my time anyway. I just gave an MSY away yesterday.
