Portable Antenna Analyzers

Post by N4DES »

Hey Guys,

Our 5+ year old Anritsu portable antenna analyzer took a pretty good dive a few days ago and after looking at the overall shape if it I decided that we need to look to replace it with a new one. With that being said, any good reccomendations on what is out on the market that is accurate, fairly portable, and easy to use? We have been out of the market for this type of device for quite some time and figured that I would check with the experts on the BatBoard before I start pinging manufacturer's rep's for demo units to try out.

Post your good, bad, and ugly comments here or by PM.

Thanks in advance.

Tektronix NetTek. Depending on the modules you install, it can do antenna analysis, spectrum analysis, and more. Mine has antenna, spectrum, and T1 modules. It's not quite as light/portable as the Anritsu but it's plenty small enough and blows the Anritsu away in terms of accuracy and features.
