Sometimes I get this error when using CPS 15 portable using windows xp,
(as it appears in a window below)
[NextGen10] [X]
Open Radio Failed
Error Context: 24, Status: c000039e
I usually have to reboot everything when it occurs. Have pondered several ideas but maybe some one knows more about what it is.
Thanks

- What radios do you own?: HT1000+, XTS+, CDM, Maxtracs
Re: CPS read/write error
I also get this error, any insight would be great!
Same exact scenario w/ OS and CPS version

Re: CPS read/write error
Both using USB cables? The CPS isn't talking the radio.

Re: CPS read/write error
I am using a USB to serial connector. I get multiple error messages from radio failed to acknowledge, radio failed to open etc. I have to either unplug the radio, turn it off and back on(radio and computer) several times before it finally does anything.
Re: CPS read/write error
CPS may not be remembering the com port setting for the usb to serial adapter.
Re: CPS read/write error
Do yourself a favor & get an OEM USB programming cable. Operation with USB-to-serial converters is notoriously unreliable.mwb9122 wrote:I am using a USB to serial connector. No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.

Re: CPS read/write error
I am experiencing the same problem using a serial to usb adapter
Re: CPS read/write error
I hope your using a usb to serial adapter. As someone else already stated those are quirky for the most part. The only ones that I have ever seen that work 100% (that is my experience) are edgeport models.

If you you don't have a true serial port, get an oem usb cable.ki6yop wrote:I am experiencing the same problem using a serial to usb adapter
