windows 7 64bit and virtual pc
I have heard arguments both ways. Does windows 7 64bit running virtual PC work with (all) programming CPS's and programming cables for motorola and if not which ones work and which ones dont. before I purchase computers Thank
Thanks, Curt
Re: windows 7 64bit and virtual pc
Virtual PC-Win XP Mode doesn't support MS-Netfram soft. In fact trbo cps and new elp cps are not running.

XTS/XTL CPS, APX CPS, and TRBO CPS run natively on WIN7 64BIT.

I had some issues with some older software like the 1225 series in virtual mode. We opted to simply replace PCs and reload with our original Windows XP discs.

Re: windows 7 64bit and virtual pc
The only problem that I have experienced was using a USB to serial adapter connected to an RKN4075C ribless cable. In XP Mode, I had communications errors but it worked fine if I ran CPS directly under Windows 7 64-bit. Connecting directly to a serial port worked fine in both modes.aquahauler wrote:I have heard arguments both ways.
