I believe it's HOST R07.71.06, DSP N08.03.05. Unless something newer came out recently. GARY N4KVE

Stupidity creates job security!
If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..
CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

Re: Latest ASTRO Saber HOST/DSP versions
To be truly pedantic, there is an R07.71.07, DSP08.03.05. I don't know what the differences are, but I would assume they're very minor.

Total n00b question.
Can a end user (like me), upgrade the firmware via CPS and a normal (Genuine) Moto RIB??

Re: Latest ASTRO Saber HOST/DSP versions
A proper upgrade involves an OEM programming cable, Smartrib, and refresh kit (refresh I-button and upgrade file) along with CPS.
