bulletins or anecdotal info regarding a Motorola MICOM XF hf-ssb radio
that I'm currently using for own amateur radio use.
I'm signed up to a few yahoo related groups and have tried Mobat-usa and other sites
but with no luck so far. Any link or lead to a manual or schematic for the radio and control head
(I have an operators manual and the service info for the F2260A tuner) would be
appreciated. Likewise if you own or operate one I'd like to hear from you.
The radio set I have may have the some of the same boards as other model MICOM equipment
so I'll list the boards I'm looking for schematics as a starting point.
TRANSCEIVER assembly model T80FEA7X41AK
"A" board - FLN-6201A issue 0 tagged 17/93....chassis bottom
"B" board - TRN4955C chassis top...standard sized components
"C" board - (Interconnection board) - FLN-6337A tagged 15/93
"S" board - Microprocessors etc FRN-4005A issue 0 also marked 9402984531u
Noise blanker board - TRN4962A tagged 20/93 connector tagged ATE14 on J21
Harmonic filter board - FFA-5500B issue 0 0123 also marked 8402897H01U
PA assembly - 125W - FLN-6422A also tagged S.O. 134857 P.L F09 M182 93
I'm trying to track down one or 2 issues (might be the same) affecting long term degradation
heard in the receive audio. This sounds like either NB and/or possibly squelch gate related
and is fairly consistent with time run.

ANTENNA TUNER - Mobile compact housing F2260A with RF Board FLA-5502A
This combination of tuner model and RF board doesn't seem to occur in the literature
I've uncovered so far, online. I'm trying to track down an issue whereby the radio won't
successfully request a tune from the tuner. Disconnected the channel-change line has the
correct logic but this changes once reconnected and in any case seems to disagree with
the schematics found online. Having some fun tinkering here

POWER SUPPLY F2366A ....... looks pretty straight forward.
I've noted that the OEM molex-type 3 pin connector pair at the radio
end of the DC cable is marginal and will be modifying or replacing this as several times I noted the radio failing to fire up or with
induced noise related.
Thanks for taking the time to read.
