Finally got the com port to work( had a bad radio,duh!).But at the end of the read process i'm getting an unrecoverable error 180/53. No clue at to what this means.Anyone knows?

Sounds like you are trying to read an IMBE XTS3000? The Astro LAB version you have only understands the older VSELP digital, not the IMBE.
