I have a cranky MCS 2000 Model II that insists on going FAIL 001 when transmitting on 902MHz frequencies. Does it right off the bat when you key up. Rarely it'll lock, but it takes some serious PTT effort, and it only lasts 1 transmission.
Anyone have a fix for this? First time I've ever encountered it on one of these units.

Try this thread - it should provide the solution:d119 wrote:I have a cranky MCS 2000 Model II that insists on going FAIL 001 when transmitting on 902MHz frequencies. Does it right off the bat when you key up. Rarely it'll lock, but it takes some serious PTT effort, and it only lasts 1 transmission.

Again, the issue is on TRANSMIT not receive, and that thread covers receive. Thanks though.
