GM300s and I50r
hi i have 2 gm300s that im trying to make a small repeater with a i50r controller, one gm300 is a 16 channel and one is a 8 channel so i cant use the rss repeater function...i do notice i can change the pin assingments on the 16channel radio in the rss but there is no such option to do so on the 8 channel one. can this radio be used for what i want to? i have programmed up the freqs in the but once the controller is hooked to the 8channel radio its like it will not tx if put on the tx side or rx if put on the rx side but if used as a normal radio it works fine..anyone have any help?

Re: GM300s and I50r
The gm300 page on the main Batlabs site has the pinouts for both models
http://batlabs.com/gm300.html
Also you can find PDFs of the schematic and setup manual for the i50r on repeater-builder.com (google search for "repeater builder i50r") if you don't have those.
There are some jumpers in the radios you have to set, not sure if you'd have to change anything in the cable.
Hope that helps some.

oh ok so insted of doing it thru the computer i just have to either alter the cable or some other things in the radio and it should work just as it should...should i use the 8ch one for the TX or RX side?

- What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

tx or rx radio don't make a difference, they only need one channel each so see what kind of power they put out and put the bigger one as tx
