Motorola went back to the Y19 displays, as far as I know you cannot order the C42s any longer. No more free firmware upgrades :x

My US MOL shows that it’s available with lead time = 2 days.
I am biggest fan of XTS2500 and ASTRO Digital Saber.

Can someone direct me to the firmware refresh ordering process for my XTS3000? I installed the new C42 display and need the firmware to see the text. I'm not familiar with this process.

You need SmartRIB, OEM cable and and iButton to do that. Ribless aftermarket cable will not work. I recommend you to call dealer, e.g. to escomm user from this board.

Or send it to Motorola for display replacement. They will do FW upgrade for free.
I am biggest fan of XTS2500 and ASTRO Digital Saber.
