Tube type Motorola Monitor Receiver

Post by fjstuden »

Where might someone find an ancient Motorola L01FNB low band or L03FNB high band (preferred) tube monitor receiver from the mid 1950s ? Having exhausted Ebay, Craigslist and local hamfests, I'm hoping some another old timer will know the answer.

This item is a 15" wide (approx) table top receive only unit with dark gray bottom and white speaker grill that runs all along the top half. Of course there is a batwing on it. They were very common in fire stations to monitor radio communications.

I have some on VHF, were working when taken out of service, several have the Quik Call decoders with them.

PM me for more info.
