XTL5000 and 700 MHz interop channels

Post by Jim202 »

Tried to program a fairly new XTL5000 with the new 700 MHz interop channels. The radio doesn't like the frequencies that the interop channels are on. I know that there are some 700 systems on the air that should be using the same king of channel split. An example is the channel 7TAC51 799.14375 MHz.

Is there a special flash that allows the radios to function on these channels?

7TAC51 Rx 769.14375 Tx 799.14375

Make sure you do not have the Tx Rx reveresed or it will not take it

Tried several things, but when I deleted and reloaded the software and the problem went away.

Thanks for letting me know it should work. At least I had a point of which direction to look.
