MT6000E - Select5 - How do I not overwrite it.

Post by DavidCP »

Hi,
I have a set of MT6000E radios (GP900) and they are all nicely set up, sequentially numbered, to run Auto-ID on PTT release and they respond to Select5 sequences from control to quietly acknowledge and Alarm.

My problem is this, for one event I need to change the channel frequency plan, if I make up a standard codeplug and program it into my radios it overwrites the Select5 information and they all go back to being dumb.

Is there a way to program the new set of frequencies without overwriting the Select5 setting ? (without manually editing the codeplug for each radio)

Any help gratefully recieved.

David
