HT1250 LS+ blinking display

Post by aisend »

Hi, I bought an used HT1250 LS+ a couple of days ago. I changed the battery for a brand new one and when I turn the radio on, the only thing that I see is the display light blinking together with the small light in top of the radio. No sound, no text in the display. tried to reprogram it but the program says to verify that the radio is on etc. I don't have much experience with this model (but with the GP300 and the P1225), but I'm afraid that the EEPROM is blown, ( I hope not!) so... any ideas anyone?. Is there any hope or do I have a nice doorstop?.

Yank it apart and make sure the flex-cables are seated appropriately, had something similar happen once when I recased a unit.
