Astro Saber band change.

Post by JRUTA »

I recently had the opportunity to aquire an Astro Saber on the SUPER cheap. Having NO experience with radios of this kind (astro) my question is: What is involved with an 800-to-vhf band change? if its even possible at all. Pardon my ignorance in advance, as i already know that simple module swaps on analog sabers arent possible for band changes, but i have no idea whatsoever whats involved with an astro Saber.

Thanks

The easiest way might be to try and find someone who wants to trade their VHF for your 800MHz. If such a person exists.
