CDM1250 - removing remote mount head

Post by g8tzl2004 »

If you have a remote mount head and CDM1250 body ( with front RJ45 plate ) - can you then mount the "remote" head onto the body (like a standard CDM1250) without requiring any extra bits other than what can be extracted from the remote head and RJ45 front plate?

No, there is a plastic spacer that is used in the dash mount but not the remote mount. Without this spacer you will not be able to put the head back on the brick

Make sure you get the correct one, they are different for the CDM1250 and 750 (I don't recall about the 1550, I think they're the same as 1250 but I wouldn't swear to it).
