XTS 2500 keypad swap

Post by FF/EMT/KC2NFB »

I tryed to search for this as best i could but could not find anything definitive.

I have a XTS 2500 model 1.5 and want to change it to a model III.

Aside from needing the full keypad front cover what else would need to be done to make it work?

thanks

Surprised this hasn't been locked.

What you need is Astro25 Depot. Version 7 is ancient but will do what you need. There is a version running around on the web though. You will use th depot menu to build a new codeplug of the appropriate type, add the flash options you want and then depot write it.
