analog spectra low power RF power

Post by Batman »

what does the low power uhf analog spectra typically put out when the power is set to low? i know high for uhf is about 40-45 watts.

these were tuned by will so i am guessing it's putting out motorola spec.
Thank You,

The low power adjustment in the RSS is usually set to 20 watts power output. Yours should be 20 watts.

Rated TX power is 40 watts on the UHF Spectra radios.

Mid-power is 20-25W on low and 40W on high. For a true low-power radio the low setting is 10W and the high setting is 25W.

It can be whatever you want it to be. You set it in the alignment screens.

what is the lowest power a low power spectra can be turned down to on the low power virtual pot? i'm wanting it to go down to 5 or 10 watts because i'm not allowed outdoor antennas and will be using an indoor and i'm concerned about RFR

I am using a 15 watt motorcycle UHF Spectra adjusted to 5 watts so as not to overdrive my TPL 5 watt in, 100 watt amp in my car. GARY N4KVE
