Vertex VX-P829 how do you obtain firmware?

I don't see much on the web about the Vertex line when it comes to buying firmware updates and additional features. I have a Uhf unit that shows DSP 0.0 in test mode which I assume means it's the equvalent of an analog only radio and would require a firmware update or flash update of some sort? I can check the P25 box in the software but it remains analog so again I assume it's the DSP 0.0 that is the issue.

Can anyone fill me in on what features can be purchased, how they are enabled, where do I get them and how much would it cost?
