HMN4016A Noise Cancelling Mobile Hand Microphone?

Came across this today and curious what its from, or what it came with standard. I see its "noise cancelling" and retailed for over $200 so something was special about it, apparently. Pic below.

That was an optional mike for the Maxtrac . Had one just like it with a different connector on my Spectra, unless your in a LOUD noise area the regular mike provides much better audio, this one is a bit tinny and you have to put it almost in contact with your mouth.
