Australian built XTS5000?

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

Australian built XTS5000?

other than the rear tag reading "Motorola Australia" are there any differences between these and USA/Canada XTS radios? Same CPS?

Exactly the same radio. They come from the same factory and are identical to a US radio, they just have a different label on the back to keep ACMA (Australia's equivalent of FCC) happy.

The most important difference is they can only be used upside down and signals travel on the left.

that's funny.

thanks for the info, so basically I'll have no issues. (though technically the radio isn't FCC certfiied, as it has no FCC ID number- nevermind the fact the RF board is EXACTLY THE SAME as the USA version)
