I want to program a Moto CDM1550 LS+ to receive an LTR system only and not transmit. My Kenwoods let me not put a TX ID and it won't TX, the CDM does not like that and not putting in transmit freqs. I don't want this to emit any RF if the PTT is pushed. Anyone have any advice?.
Thanks

Re: CDM1550 LS+
First off do you have permission to be on that system? If so have the system administrator program your radio so it won't interfere their everyday use. If not then just use a trunking scanner.

Re: CDM1550 LS+
I don't know if you can program it to not emit any RF when the PTT is pressed but you could always put in incorrect offsets in the TX section so if the PTT is accidentally pressed it won't interfere with the system.
