Hello to all
Iam new at the CPS my department dump this in my lap and i am lost as a babe in the woods. Can someone send me a step by step process on how to use this software. I am programming cdm 1550s. I spent 2 hours programming freqs in this radio only to get data revert errors when I tried to write to radio. The radio is all ready programmed with some but lot of freqs are wrong from what I have been able to look up.

I am needing to program conventional repeater channels and then talk around somebody please help me before I kick the dog.

that cps is ancient, you should definately update it and the firmware in the radios, there are more options available in the new ones. But that cps has a error checking section, when there are errors in programming like frequencies out of band it will tell you and when you click on the errors the cps will take you to the problem

you need to have a local shop do it or at least show you how to use it. You say your department so that tells me pd of fd and I would not want to trust my life to one of those radios you are trying to program. There is ALOT more to do than just enter frequencies, after you enter those frequencies you have to assign them somewhere
