MCS2000 Speaker/Mic

Post by mg3610 »

I have recently purchased a MCS2000 Model II Dash mount radio. The speaker/mic's I see listed appear to allow you to operate without an external speaker. IS this true? If I have the GMN6147B Mic, can it function as a speaker, without an external speaker attached to the accessory port?

Thanks

You can get handset audio out of the front mic jack, but as far as I know the GMN6147B is a mic only. If I'm wrong some please correct me.

Jim, are there any other model mice that function as a speaker/mic. I prefer that style, as it has the option buttons on the side. Maybe there's a different model # that has speaker capability?
