NTN9857C Battery with WPLN4114AR Charger

NTN9857C Battery with WPLN4114AR Charger

Need to confirm that my WPLN4114AR v3.40 charger will work with an NTN9857C battery. The charger manual lists NTN9857 as compatible, minus the "C". Got a state issued XTS1500 v1.5 on loan, and I don't want to trash their battery.

Also, can newer batteries such as these be charged on the older shoe chargers NTN7209A in a pinch, minus the Impres benefits?

I think I'm OK with the WPLN4114AR - any advice to the contrary?
