XTS3000 ENCRYPTION MULTI KEY

XTS3000 Multikey operation i have a xts3000 with firmware r5.60 and a des xl board with emc r2.12
how many keys can be loaded i can only load 2 with kvl3000+
i suspect the firmware limits it to 2 as i have a xts3000 with r 7.10 and it does 16 keys

Is the module within the 7.10 host radio a 2.12 version as well?

If it is then yes I would suspect the firmware in the radio as teh culprit but Motorola has long supported 16 keys in radios way back so it has me a bit puzzled.

Get the radio upgraded and see...?

the module in the 7.10 is a emc 3.55
i have had the emc3.55 in the r 5.60 radio and still only 2 keys

i did relise i can add keys i have setup multikey 4 keys
i am using a kvl3000+ it will only load 1 key i suspect that the r5.6 in the radio and the emc 3.55 encryption moduel will not allow it
i have another radio with same code plug and it works. it is a r5.6 in radio and emc 2.12
