Hello chaps!
This is my first post, so scuse any randomness!
i have a problem, i need to create a line-connected repeater using only a gp340, as my actual repeaters are in use somewhere else.
This is my plan. I have a gp340 unit, i have a broken motorola RSM. (mdpmmn4021a) i want to take the broken broach, chop the actual broach part off of the cable, then attach a couple of xlrs to the end of the cable to allow audio out, audio in, and a push to talk which i can trigger using any GPIO.
i opened the broach, and disconnected the two white connectors inside so i have the cable seperate to the RSM. what i was shocked about is the amount of circuitry inside the RSM!!
i'm really looking for some help here. i am sure someone must have done this before, but can anyone throw any pinouts for the cable, or any wiring suggestions my way??
anything you've got is really appreciated!!
cheers in advance!
