FCC License from 25khz to 12.5 khz ?

Post by Satelite »

Hello Everyone:
Does anyone have a step by step process that you do to get a licensed fcc freq from its now 25khz to 12.5 khz narrow band designation ?
I have a license presently assigned as 20k0f3e wide band that id like to get assigned to 11k0f3e narrow band so i can get the associated radios and the repeater changed out to 12.5 narrow band.
This is a UHF repeater pair license in the IB business band .
I have heard its not a big deal to do so and would rather do it myself to save on naber fees ect.
What is the process for doing this ?
Thank You

If you google "narrowband license modification" should be the second one down. Follow the steps and your done.

As long as you have the FRN password to access the license in ULS it is pretty straightforward. But you must have the password or you will have to go through the process with the FCC to get it reset if you have the authority to do so.

Hello:
Well i do have the FRN and my license info.
But when i try to get the FCC page to modify ect it states that no password or qeustion was logged to my license.
But i did see the toll free FCC number to reqeust a password.
So ill give em a call and see if i can get a password .
Thank you for the info and push in the right direction.
