Hey guys. I want to buy An mcs2000 radio but want to know if I can change it to a remote head so it fits in my car? Can anyone help me out pleaseeeeee.

I have seen remote kits for the type 2 & 3 MCS2000. I don't know if a kit is made for the type 1. You might want to contact Escomm on this forum. He has these kits. GARY N4KVE

You can remote mount any of the MCS2000 series radios.

H1634A Remote Mount Retrofit Kit. For use with Model I
H1635A Remote Mount Retrofit Kit. For use with Model II and Ill
