I was looking through batlabs for some info on the MCS2000 DB25. I was wondering if the folowing are available on the DB25.
1. PTT (Found - Pin 21 programmable I/O)
2. Mic Audio (Found - Pin 13)
3. COS/COR (active low or high)?????
4. Rx Discriminator Audio???????
5. GND (Found Pin 10)
Any Help would be much appreciated!!

2. Mic Audio (Found - Pin 13)
3. COS/COR (active low or high) - Pin 8 - see notes below
4. Rx Discriminator Audio - Pin 11
5. GND (Found Pin 10 - digital ground) also Pin 4 analog ground.
Pin 8 has some caveats. It is controlled by the 'car audio mute' option in the RSS/CPS. Enabling that feature will give an active low when receiving...but will also give the low when transmitting. There's also an issue with it sometimes not activating in trunked mode...not sure if that was ever rectified.
There is no other factory COR output in the radio. I have used the DC biasing voltage (approx 5 volts in the MCS, I believe) on either speaker lead to control a transistor based switching circuit to provide a reliable COR.

No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.

Hi Wavetar,
I just want to use the radio as a conventional link on a quantar. When the MCS receives I want it to drop low and activate the Quantar. When the Quantar receives I want it to activate the MCS. I shouldn't have a problem with Pin 8 going low during Tx on the MCS, should I? Because the Quantar will already be txing, or will that potentially hang up the quantar and always have it txing? Hmmmm??

**Old thread bump**
If you have a problem with distorted TX audio on Pin 13, use Pin 23 - External Mic In. I beat my head against the wall for a week on that.
