Motorola CP200 nicad versus LI-ion battery ?

Motorola CP200 nicad versus LI-ion battery ?

Hello :
Got a fellow asking about getting a battery for a motorola cp200 but i have a qestion .
Can he use eigther a nicad or LI-ion battery in the charger for the CP200 battery or is the charger diferent for one battery versus the other ?

There are slow rate chargers and rapid chargers. Rapid chargers have an insert in the shoe you can flip. Slow rate chargers don't

Here is the Motorola charger sheet for the CP200. It looks as if some of their chargers are okay for all three types of batteries but some are usable only with Nicad and NiMH batteries.

Perfect you just gave me exactly the info i needed.
I was pretty sure the charger had to be a certain one to do LI-ion batts but wasnt sure.
Now ill see what charger he has and see if he can use the LI-ion batt pack or not.
If not then the ni-cd it shall be.
