I have two UHF HT-1250 portables - one high band split (450-520) and one low split (400-470) is it possible to copy channel info from one file to another for the 450-470 channels? I'd like to copy the these channels without having to reenter all of the channel data.

If they were both the same split you could use the clone feature but since not your out of luck
on that. You are going to have to re-enter all the data.
