I am trying to program a CDM1250 on 6 meters and could use some advice.
I read the thread on doing a 220 Mhz radio and hope I don't have to go through all that.
I have CPS R06.11.05 and Hex Workshop.
Can I just edit the Hex string in the CPS?
Can someone tell me the Hex string I need to change and what to change it to?
I recall someone saying they were able to do it with non-hacked CPS, but mine sure didn't work.
Maybe a different supported region?
Thanks,
Neal

Unless someone coughs up the mod to the CPS itself you're out of luck in that regard.WD6EEV wrote:I read the thread on doing a 220 Mhz radio and hope I don't have to go through all that.
The problem with editing a CPS-saved archive is that CPS encrypts it before saving to prevent you from doing just that. The reason the 220 mod works is that the default codeplugs that come with the Waris Flash Grade tool are unencrypted s-records.Can I just edit the Hex string in the CPS?

So, if I had a copy of the default code plug for that radio, could I edit that? The problem with editing a CPS-saved archive is that CPS encrypts it before saving to prevent you from doing just that.
