xts5000 USB modem issue
So i bought a new laptop for work. I got a panasonic toughbook cf-31 with win 7 (not by choice). Anyway I have been loading up all my cps on this thing with no problems. I read in the help section about how to install the usb cable. I can't seem to get this thing to keep from installing as a modem rather than a com port. How can I make this cable load up so I can program the radios again?

Re: xts5000 USB modem issue
This same set up work with the APX7000 just fine. Everything (cps, cables) are legit M. when I go into the device manager its shows the XTS5000 as a modem and is using com port 8. When I go into the cps com port 8 is not even an option to select. I am running this in compatiblity mode xp sp2

Re: xts5000 USB modem issue
got it working. Gobi 2000 WLAN card was blocking the CPS from seing the XTS5000 as a modem.
