Does such a package exist ?? If I want to blank the Maratrac board and re-initialize, do I use
the regular RSS or do I need a Lab version ?
I know this was true with the Maxtrac, which I did many of, but never did a Maratrac.

Re: MARATRAC Lab Software
I have not seen a Maratrac or M-400 Lab, but don't know if there was one.
I have used Maxtrac Lab many times to blank Maratrac or M-400 radios.
Then use Maratrac or M-400 RSS to re-initialize the radio to the split the hardware was made for.
I have been following this thread, and I have not had any luck with the band change mentioned earlier.
Not with Maratrac or Maxtrac/Radius. Maybe I have not been persistent enuf.
My fix has always been to use the Maxtrac manual power mod with adding a 10 k pot on the logic board.
If not, then below 145 the radios run wide open, and the pot on the interconnect board only brings TX down to about 120w.
The times I tried to change bandsplit, either the radio would not work at all, or would not align.

Re: MARATRAC Lab Software
I seem to recall that there is an option to replace the logic board (i.e. blank and initialize) in the MaraTrac Service menu, although I haven't had a reason to do that on one. It might be worth hitting F2 and having a look around.

Re: MARATRAC Lab Software
Here you go. This does work, make sure you have your tuning values written down and make sure you are in pure dos.
