Pace tips, where to buy?

Post by arlojanis »

I can not find my favorite Pace tips at a fair price. $ 83.00 for 5 tips is too much. Seems like I paid $ 35.00 last time. Where do you get your tips?

We buy from Production Automation out of Kansas City MO. Which tip are you looking for?

Tessco has them at a slight discount off list. Pace are unfair to deal with because of their shipping charges. I find new old stock on Ebay from time to time and have never had any issues going that route

I think the production soldering tool industry has decided that everyone needs to buy a new station every few years, like laptops....

I have never ordered from Pace directly. I have never had a problem with Production Automation out of KCMO but we have been having issues with tip longevity. It started a few years ago and has steadily gotten worse.

APE Corp in Florida, the folks that sell the Chipmaster, also stock most Pace parts.
