Motorola MTS2000 UHF Trunking

Hello, i have a Motorola MTS2000 Model 1 Flashport radio 450-520Mhz, after purchasing it, i noticed when i turn it on, it says self check, and shuts off, would this be a problem with the board?

It sounds like the radio has possibly been inhibited by the system admin.

What does inhibited mean?

it means a system manager disabled it remotely, most likely because the radio was reported lost, stolen or was illegally programmed (cloned ID).
