XTS Receive Level Indicator

Post by KB2ZTX »

Im not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but i am looking to find out if there is a way to display the RSSI on the portable radio. Currently all I have is the "antenna" with bars next to it. I have some area's that are right down to the bottom and I want to see what the strength is without pulling a service monitor out and listening to the control channel. I seem to remember a ST at one point having something on the display like this.

Program one of your buttons for "Site Display / Search" and give it a short press to display the current site, and a long press to force a site scan.

Note, this only works in trunking when the radio "sees" a control channel. Won't display RSSI level in conventional.
