ht1000 torn front flex cable.

Here's the deal, I have a ht1000 w/ dtmf that had some sand stuck around the DTMF pad buttons. I decided to crack the case to clean things up anyways as i was getting in to disconnect the front ribbon cable the cable tore at the connector. Errrr!!
My question is can I order just a new cable? Where would you guys recommend getting it from? Also how would you go about desoldering the dtmf board, and soldering the new one onto the replaceable cable?

I have a good used front with all the flex and keypad for $45 shipped if you want ot go that route
