MSF 5000 multi squelch tray

We have a digital MSF5000 and are looking to add the multi PL tone tray. we found several off of analog systems but need to know if that will work with the digital system. Thanks.

We have some Zetron M-38 tone panels on MSF5000's on UHF and 900. They work well. They interface into the expansion connector and emulate the Motorola multi PL deck.

We have thought about doing that same thing... but would like to retain securenet.

I want to say that could still be done with a Zetron panel and programming of the PTT priority.. like, you would put "L" (local) ahead of "R" (repeater) which should cause the Zetron panel to take priority when it decodes an analog user with PL/DPL, but still allow Securenet to be passed via internal repeat. Heh, now you've got me wanting to try it. :D
