Any option you wish to add will require a change in firmware.

There are other options you can select and use from the CPS menus, and whatever is not shown will require a change in firmware and not simply selecting some of the options.
It also depends on the vocoder type, a 512K VSELP or a 1 Meg, IMBE.
VSELP is NOT compatible with ANY current astro system in P25 'mode'.

It is a flash option, so it will need to be ordered thru Motorola, or enabled at an s-record level. You may or may not need a f/w update I did not see where you had posted your f/w revs. If you have the correct software tools you can go to p25.ca and learn how to edit the s-record and FDB.

Astro Sabers have gotten into the downright inexpensive category of late. You want a unit, a 1, 2 or 3 model, with a flashcode that begins with the number 5 and is an IMBE radio. You might save a lot of time aggravation by replacing your present radio.

Motorola is no longer selling flash upgrades for discontinued radios that are off the support list. Have tried to get APB requests for MTS2000 and XTS3000 pushed through in the last few months and no quotes were provided with the explanation that the units are no longer supported. YMMV

If you haven't already solved this issue please post the flashcode of the radio as well as the HOST and DSP versions.
