PM1500 MIc Connector Help

PM1500 MIc Connector Help

Hi Everyone.
I Have a pm1500 radio witch i am going to use as a receiver only, but when i remove the mic it goes into squelch audio.
can any one tell me witch pins in the mic connector i am suppose to ground in order to mute the squelch?

This can be fixed with the CPS. Uncheck the box for HUB disables PL.

why wouldn't you just disable the ptt line? if you remove the mic the ptt is still enabled and it can still tx?

???? It IS a receive only radio, so the PTT is not active. And it seems that the OP said there is no mic with it.

maybe I read it wrong, sounded more like he was using a speaker mic and wanted to know what to do to disable the mic in it?
