Could someone answer a question for me? I have a brand new spectra mic which i would like to use on my CDM 1250 is it a matter of just cutting off the spectra plug and adding a RG45 5 PIN connector, or does that mic have different wiring.
thanks

I wouldn't ruin the Spectra mic. They are starting to be hard to locate at times. The CDM mic is a much more common mic to be had. There should be a bunch of them around. Have you tried asking your local radio shop if they have any? In many cases, they might just give it to you.

Re: CDM 1250 mic
actually i got the mics for free and they are much better quality then the new Motorola mics question is can it be done?
Re: CDM 1250 mic
Jim, the spectra mics are still available through Mother /\/\, since they're a carryover from the XTL W series. But of course their price point isn't as attractive as a used unit. But they're still available nonethelessJim202 wrote:JDL sporting wrote:Could someone answer a question for me? Remove the cord and strain relief from the CDM mic and put it on the Spectra mic. Save the Spectra mic cord.i
