HT-1250 Programming question.

Post by fdmark »

How would I go about programing the HT-1250 in the CPS to encode and transmit tones to trip a Minitor V pager for our Fire Dept. It was my understanding it was related to the QuickCall2 signaling section however nothing is sent. Our Tone 1 is 1036.0 and Tone 2 is 1232.7. Also heard to program a button to send code, however the CPS did not list that function in the button control tab. Thanks for the assistance.

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

expand the tree, expand call, expand quick call, then rename and enter your format and tones. then you need to set up the menu so you can get to the tones so expand controls and menu and either program a button for direct access to radio call list or access it thru the menu then program that into the radio. then select the channel you want to send the tones out on and go into the menu and select the tones you renamed and press the tx button. Or you can email me the codeplug and i'll set it up for you?
