FRS IS 1/2 watt, narrow band. Permanently fixed antenna.
With a GMRS license that freq becomes a 5 watt 5khz dev simplex channel.

What radios do you own?: Progreso soup can with CRT

462.6125 is both an FRS and a GMRS channel, so power in excess of 500 mW and a removable antenna are, at least in theory,
perfectly legal for your radios to have.

Could you possibly post a picture? That model doesn't sound familiar at all.

Hi,
Yes, I'm getting pics posted soon.
BTW,
Boss said it was like 1987 when he bought these radios.
And ive done the research, i know they frs and gmrs.
I just cant find a picture, any reference to model number, or anything about them but what i know from physically handling them.
Thanks

When you take the pics try to get one of the tag that has the serial number and the fcc id if possible.
